John Harris, Esq is a native boomerang to Forsyth County. He received a BA in Philosophy & Religion and History from Appalachian State University, a BS in both Finance and Economics from Winston Salem State University and a JD from North Carolina Central University. Mr. Harris is both the Founder and Principal Attorney for Winston Salem based J. Harris Legal PLLC as well as founder, COO and General Counsel for Güdphoria LLC, a sustainable land management company focused on community development and the practical application of the industrialization of the hemp and other emerging crops within the regenerative agriculture sector. As a board member of IRDI, Mr. Harris fills our organization's legal role by providing legal advice along with strategic development insights related to various projects all the way from Urban Design to financial architecture.
